Integration

Microsoft 365 integration

Integrations with Microsoft 365 using the Graph API: email, calendar, SharePoint and Teams connected to business systems and your own apps.

Most of the working day happens in Microsoft 365, but business systems often sit outside it. With the Graph API they can be connected: email that's read and sorted automatically, documents that land in the right SharePoint folder, and alerts that show up in Teams.

What can be connected

  • Outlook email: read, sort, send and fetch attachments
  • Calendar and meeting booking
  • Documents in SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Messages and alerts in Teams
  • Users and groups in Entra ID

Access and setup

The integration gets an app registration in Entra ID, and an administrator consents to the permissions it needs. Access can be limited to specific mailboxes or sites, so it doesn't see more than necessary.

Common questions

Can the integration be limited to one mailbox?
Yes. With Exchange access policies it can be limited to the mailboxes you decide.
Can email attachments go to SharePoint automatically?
Yes, sorted into folders by sender, customer or whatever suits you.
Do you use Power Automate?
Where it's enough, yes. When the flow grows or has to cope with failures, I'd rather build it in code.
