Integration
Shopify integration
Integrations with Shopify, so orders, stock, products and payments move automatically between the store and accounting, warehouse and ERP.
Shopify is easy to get started with, but as the store grows there's a lot of moving data by hand: orders to accounting, stock from another system, products from a supplier. I build the links that take over that job.
What can be connected
- Orders to Fiken, Tripletex, PowerOffice or an ERP
- Stock levels from a warehouse system or ERP
- Products and prices from a supplier or PIM
- Shipping and tracking with Bring or others
- Shopify Payments payouts reconciled against the accounts
Access and setup
The integration gets its own app in the store with the permissions it needs, and Shopify sends webhooks when something happens, like a new order or a refund. The data moves on straight away, without anyone pressing export.
Common questions
- Aren't there ready-made apps for this?
- Often there are, and then you should try them first. I build when the apps don't fit your setup or cost more than they save.
- Can stock be kept the same in Shopify and a physical store?
- Yes. Stock can update both ways, so you don't sell something that's out of stock.
- How does Shopify revenue end up in the accounts?
- Orders, fees and payouts can be posted automatically, so the accounts match what actually landed in the bank.
