Integration
WooCommerce integration
Integrations with WooCommerce, so orders, stock and products move automatically between the store and accounting, warehouse and other systems.
WooCommerce gives a lot of freedom, but the plugins meant to connect the store to Norwegian accounting systems don't always fit, and sometimes they stop working after an update. An integration that talks to the API, rather than living inside WordPress, holds up better.
What can be connected
- Orders to Fiken, Tripletex or PowerOffice
- Stock and prices from an ERP or warehouse system
- Products from a supplier or PIM
- Shipping with Bring
- Vipps and card payments reconciled against the accounts
Access and setup
WooCommerce has a REST API with its own keys, and webhooks for new orders and changes. The integration runs outside WordPress, so it doesn't slow the store down and survives plugin and theme updates.
Common questions
- Why not just use a plugin?
- If a plugin fits, it's often the simplest choice. I build when it doesn't cover the need, or when it keeps breaking.
- Can you move us from WooCommerce to Shopify?
- Yes. Products, customers and order history can be moved, and old addresses redirected.
- Does it slow things down for customers?
- No, the integration runs on its own server and works in the background.
