HeadhuntNow — Recruitment Platform
A full-stack recruitment platform connecting employers with jobseekers, featuring token-based profile unlocking, role-based dashboards, and a custom authentication system built on IdentityServer.
HeadhuntNow is a recruitment web application where employers can post job adverts, browse jobseeker profiles, and unlock contact details using a token-based credit system (AccessBucks). Jobseekers create profiles with personal details that are partially visible to employers — full details require credits to unlock.
Built as a .NET solution with three projects: a Blazor Server frontend for the SPA experience, an ASP.NET Core authentication server using IdentityServer/Duende with separate employer and jobseeker registration flows, and a shared core library. Features include email verification, manual employer approval, searchable/filterable candidate database, payment integration, and role-based dashboards.

The Problem
The client needed a recruitment platform where employers could discover and contact jobseekers without traditional recruitment agencies. Employers browse a candidate database with search and filtering, but contact details are hidden behind a credit-based paywall. Two distinct user types needed separate registration flows, dashboards, and permissions — with manual approval required for employer accounts.
The Approach
Built a .NET solution with three projects: Blazor Server frontend, ASP.NET Core auth server (IdentityServer/Duende), and a shared core library for models and components. Implemented a token-based credit system (AccessBucks) where employers purchase credits to unlock jobseeker profiles. Entity Framework with SQL Server for persistence. Separate registration and login flows for employers and jobseekers, email verification, password management, and role-based claims. The frontend was built from the client's Figma designs.
The Outcome
Delivered a working recruitment platform with employer and jobseeker portals, credit-based profile unlocking, job advertising, searchable candidate database, and a complete authentication system. Completed ahead of the agreed timeframe. The client received full source code and deployment documentation.
